Birds of Prey by Tom Vezo

It has been said that no one captures the essence of the bird on film as does Tom Vezo who travels worldwide to film birds in their natural environment. Birds of Prey includes amazing raptors (eagles, hawks, owls, falcon and osprey) distinguished by their excellent eyesight, sharp talons and hooked beaks. Whether soaring or perched, these remarkable creatures of the air present an aura of unique power and majesty.

Many of the photographs in Birds of Prey are from "Birds of Prey in the American West by Tom Vezo, Richard Glinski" Published by Stackpole Books.

As a tribute to Tom Vezo, one our nation’s finest bird photographers, who sadly passed away on the 18th of July while mountain climbing, we are featuring all his lovely bird collections this week. He clearly stood out in a profession of very special people. All who knew him will miss his love of nature, extraordinary talent, and zest for life.
