It is remarkable that Hansel, legally blind since the age of twelve, has never swayed from his childhood dream of becoming an artist and painting wildlife and the great outdoors. His brush strokes create detailed moments in time that his eyes cannot clearly see; yet, working only one or two inches away from the canvas, he is able to keep in mind his total creation. Hansel’s reputation for detail and his distinctive, colorful paintings have proven to be very popular with art collectors.
