For the Beauty of the Earth by Marc Adamus -<br> descriptions

=Amazing Paradise - Warm, reflected light from the opposing canyon walls illuminates the background of this spectacular scene deep within Zion's Virgin River canyon, Utah.

=Cloud Parade - A perfect reflection of Alberta's Mount Assiniboine, with clouds and sunset light in a tiny alpine tarn.

=Coast of Wonders - Receding waves amidst a vibrant sunset captured at Washington's famous Ruby Beach, Olympic National Park.

=Desert Light - Vast dunes in Death Valley National Park, California, captured on a 100-degree morning.

=Dreamscape - Amazing views from high in Washington's Goat Rocks wilderness looking towards Mount Rainier at sunset.

=Fairyland Falls - An enchanting waterfall and stream in a wild and remote region of Oregon's Columbia Gorge.

=Flaming Canyon - Vibrant skies over Toroweep Canyon, a remote location in Arizona that overlooks the Colorado River, shown here at sunset.

=Glacier Grand View - A stunning high elevation view of Glacier National Park including some of the biggest vertical relief the west and a thousand-foot waterfall, captured here after a fresh November snow.

=Going To the Sun - Glacier National Park, Montana. Dark, dramatic and amazing views at twilight I captured while perched on the side of a cliff just off Glacier's famous Going-to-the-Sun road.

=Heaven’s Gates - Unbelievable views stretching across one of the most remote mountain paradises in the US, high in Washington's North Cascades.

=Light From Within - At just the right time of the year on a clear day, the last light of sunset filters into this enormous, 200ft long, sea tunnel on Oregon's coast, illuminating the misty interior carved out by the churning waves. Large swells roared down the cavern and exploded all around me on the other side. Although I ended up getting totally soaked, I particularly enjoyed photographing the waters receding back into the light.

=Mountain Graceful - Oregon's Mount Hood photographed at sunrise after a new snow.

=Ocean's Fury - Exploding waves illuminated in the last light of sunset along the central Oregon coast.

=Painted in Spring - Painted Hills, Oregon. Oregon's Painted Hills National Monument comes alive with soft light, spring wildflowers and beautiful sunset skies.

=Paradise Gardens - Morning sun emerges through the trees, complimenting this beautiful cascade and wildflowers in Washington's Rainier National Park.

=Seasons Gone By - A clearing autumn storm reveals the Eastern peaks of Glacier National Park, Montana at sunrise.

=Song of the Tides - Stunning sunset colors and beautiful rocky coast seen here in Seal Rocks State Park, Oregon.

=Still Dreaming - A long exposure streaks these clouds sweeping over Whatcom Peak reflected in a small tarn in a very remote region of Washington's North Cascades range.

=The Beginning - The most amazing light show I have ever seen, captured over Mount Rundle in Banff National Park, Alberta.

=The Great Window - A lone figure stands inside a massive window in Arches National Park at sunrise.

=Tranquility - Striking sunrise colors reflected in the misty waters of Sparks Lake, Oregon.

=Water Dances - Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. Water falling from far above onto mossy rocks. With the source of the falls not shown, and the water coming down in waves the image becomes somewhat of an intriguing abstract.
