With a joyful spirit and insightful artistic talent, Thelma Winter paints places which are close to her heart. She creates the scenes which evoke thoughts of home and happiness. When she was 53, she first started painting, and with her natural talent and passion, these perfect places in her memory came to life. With her watercolors, she captures the intimate details of a scene with its perfect light and brilliant colors. Thelma invites you to wander with her along country roads and into quaint villages filled with tulips, spring blossoms, colorful quilts blowing in the breeze on the clothes line, sheep grazing beside a covered bridge, and a gaggle of geese waddling across a fresh green lawn. In this serene and friendly setting, you too will feel a happy sense of belonging and contentment.
