Home Is Where
the Heart Is
by Dennis Patrick Lewan

Dennis Patrick Lewan’s acclaimed nostalgic paintings provide an intimate glimpse into the lifestyle of a bygone era of the 18th and 19th centuries. A special place called Home welcomes us with a flickering glow of lights in the window, whether it be a quaint cottage or an elegant Victorian mansion. Inspired by the Old Masters, Lewan uses brilliant color-play, a romantic glow and backlighting so traditional of those times. Several of his paintings include hidden bears and angels intriguingly tucked away in clouds and trees. Included in this collection are Beary Patch Cottage, Angel Falls and The Baywater Inn.
