Natural Splendor by Charles Gurche

The love of the outdoors and capturing it on film began at an early age for acclaimed photographer, Charles Gurche. At the tender age of 10, Charles was enthusiastically photographing the woods and streams near his home with his instamatic camera. That passion for nature photography continued to grow, and today Gurche states, “Everywhere around us is an infinite variety of ever changing form and color waiting to be exposed on an empty sheet of film. At any given moment, there are millions of situations of wonderful light and interesting compositions waiting to be witnessed.” Included are Imprints of Time, Remnants of the Tide, and Sunstruck as well as the geographic locations of the photographs.
