Painted Memories by Jim Hansel, filled with rustic settings and wildlife, is a nostalgic treasury of warm memories from a more distant place and time in America's rural past. Hansel, legally blind since the age of twelve, has never swayed from his childhood dream of becoming an artist and painting wildlife and the great outdoors. His brush strokes create detailed moments in nature that his eyes cannot clearly see; yet, working only one or two inches away from the canvas, he is able to keep in mind his total creation. Hansel's reputation for detail and his distinctive, colorful landscapes have proven to be very popular with art collectors. Included in his first Second Nature collection of Autumn artwork are Harvest Season, A Walk in the Mist, Field of Dreams II, and Evening Serenity.
