A century or so ago, an array of international artists from the United Kingdom, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Germany and Russia painted these peaceful pathway scenes. Each painter in his own unique style portrayed an idyllic setting of uplifting beauty. Stroll along meandering lanes through picturesque countryside, serene forests, and quaint villages with charming cottages.
