Raymond Wilson's fascination with space and fantasy art began prior to his graduation from the University of Houston where he received extensive training in Technical Illustration. NASA, Manned Spacecraft Center, at Clear lake, Texas, provided the perfect opportunity to work in an exciting environment and further his technical and creative skills. During this time, he did free-lance illustration for World Book Encyclopedia Science Service, which included illustrations of the Mariner Mars Missions, Ranger Moon probes and other Astronomical illustrations and scientific subjects. He has been a featured artist in many art shows including the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History's "Space Show" national tour. His Space Art is also included in Visions of Space by David Hardy. After many years of doing commercial and technical illustration, Raymond is doing what he loves, painting Space and Fantasy Fine Art.
