From an early age, Robert Duncan loved being in the country and living the rural lifestyle. As a boy, he spent the summers on his grandparents’ ranch in Wyoming, where his grandmother gave him his first set of oil paints. Duncan comments, “We all need a little dirt to plant a few seeds and know the miracle of the harvest. Nothing soothes the troubled mind like a walk in a meadow full of lazy cows.” Through his paintings, Duncan celebrates his love of family, especially children, and country living, all of which he greatly treasures.
