When I try to install a downloaded file
I get the error "Could not initialize
installation, file size expected = xxxxxxx, size returned = xxxxxxx“.
What's happening?

The file size message indicates that the install program became corrupted during download.

When downloading a file the “File Download” dialog appears. You can choose either “Save” or “Open”. If you select “Open” instead of “Save”, the file will download into your temp directory and the install program will begin. If you choose to “Save” the file to your computer, remember the saved location. After the file is downloaded, double-click the file to begin the installation.

Before downloading the file again, be sure to delete the previously downloaded file, if you saved it, or empty your temp directory if you chose to open the file.

If the file continues to become corrupted during downloading try installing in a different manner that you did when the file became corrupted. If you opened the file, then choose to save it. If you saved the file, then choose to open it.

If you continue to have difficulties, please refer to the “Downloading our Screen Saver and Collections” support section.

CUSTOMER APPLAUSE: I'm pretty much home-bound and your screen savers bring places to me that I can't visit - which is a joy. BUT I buy them because it's a way I can travel *and* support environmental causes at the same time. And of course because of the high quality of your contributors' photographs. Thanks for the joy and thanks for supporting the earth. Ellie Moses, Knoxville, Tenn.
