Why can't I open the .bin file on my Mac?

When you can't open a file with the .bin extension, you don't have a helper application associated with it. Which helper application to use would depend on the version of your Mac OS and what web utilities are installed. The usual helper application is Aladdin Stuffit Expander which comes free with Macs.

Open Stuffit Expander, select the .bin file, and select “Expand” from the file menu. That should give you our VISE installers (look for a blue "VICE" icon). If the installer doesn’t start automatically, double-click the VISE file to start the installer.

CUSTOMER APPLAUSE: I'm pretty much home-bound and your screen savers bring places to me that I can't visit - which is a joy. BUT I buy them because it's a way I can travel *and* support environmental causes at the same time. And of course because of the high quality of your contributors' photographs. Thanks for the joy and thanks for supporting the earth. Ellie Moses, Knoxville, Tenn.
