What's new in version 4.47 (from 4.20):

• Wide Screen support. Wide screen collections are great for wide screen monitors, traditional monitors and laptop screens.
• Date in Calendar automatically updates (v4.46). Note that the grey background on the date it was first run will NOT change, but the outline around the current date will. Double-click any day to change the background. This is a limitation of the Windows Calendar Control. The calendar control is not compatible with Windows Vista or Windows 7.
• Windows 2000 calendar will paint much faster (v4.46).
• Runs on Windows Server 2003 (v4.45).
• Text color and font size and Style can be changed for the Desktop Calendar. Will properly outline all fonts and sizes on Windows XP and later.
• Multi-Monitor Support. Images will cycle on multiple (2) monitors under Windows XP.
• Multi-User Support. Different people using the same computer can share all collections, yet have different collections selected and different options for each collection. Now supports Wallpaper as well.
• Editable Captions for your own .jpg images.
• Taskbar "Balloon" notification when new collections are available on www.secondnature.com.
• Fixed a bug when updating after a previous uninstall that could result in a "black screen" when the screen saver runs.
• NOTE: WINDOWS NT and 95 ARE NOT SUPPORTED. See the archival link at the bottom of this page for more information on these OS's.

Our Screen Saver and Lion (OS X 10.7)

We're steadily working hard to make all of our collections compatible with Lion. If you have difficulty installing a collection, please see the help page for more information.

We appreciate our customers and, if you're thinking of updating to Lion, we thought a heads up would be helpful.

NOTE:

• IF YOU HAVE OS X 10.5 OR OLDER. In some cases the images do not appear correctly with the latest version of our screen saver on Macs that do not have Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) installed. If that happens on your Mac, you can download v1.3 from the the archives. See the Software Archive Page link at the bottom of this page for more information.
• OS 8/9 IS NOT SUPPORTED. See the Software Archive Page link at the bottom of this page for more information.
