Vista Doesn't Display All My Collections

First of all, please read the directions before starting the actual process.

We have reports from some users that Vista won't display all their installed collections. If this happens, the fix is to delete an incorrect file that Vista creates in the VirtualStore:

Step 1. Search for the file "slideshw.ini" on your computer. This is done by seleting "Search" from the Windows "Start" button, then entering "slideshw.ini" and then click "Advanced Search". Change "location" to "Everywhere" and select the "Include non-index, hidden, and system files" checkbox.

Step 2. If it finds the slideshw.ini file in the VirtualStore (look for this text in the "Location" column), then right click on the filename and select "Delete" and confirm you want to send it to the recycle bin. Important: Do not delete the Slideshw.ini file found in the "Windows" folder or all your collections will disappear!

Now reboot your computer. Your collections should now show properly in Image Manager and the screen saver.

CUSTOMER APPLAUSE: I have been a subscriber to Second Nature for several years now and find that this site is an outstanding example of what an internet site should be. It is easy to use and find what you want as well as their method of ordering any collections is to say SIMPLE and effective. I especially interested in Nature pictures and the site has an excellent selection of which I now have well over 24 collections. Thank you once again for your efforts. - Richard E.
