Vista or Windows 7 Doesn't Display All My Collections

We have reports from some users that Vista or Windows 7 won't display all their installed collections. If this happens, the fix is to delete an incorrect file that Vista or Windows 7 creates in the VirtualStore:

First of all, please read ALL the directions before starting the actual process. You want to delete the Virtual Store copy of the slideshw.ini file. You do NOT want to delete the c:\windows\slideshw.ini or it will delete all your collections.

How to delete slideshw.ini in Virtual Store.

  • 2. Click on C drive, and then click on Users - (from the list of names that appears, choose your name)

  • 3. Then choose at the top of that screen: Organize

  • 4. Click on Folder & Search Options
